You can look at mine through my website (linked in my sig), but it's nothing special. Just what I could afford to do at the time. I've been to busy to do anything else with it.

Richard and Judy (LVMAXX) have the best I've seen for a '68 or '69. A very quality piece. Check it out!

Well it's not a '69 and it doesn't have a custom dash, however the picture does show you how creative one can be two days before a car show.

I broke the driver side A/C bezel two days before a car show. As soon as it happened I knew that it would take a miracle to get a replacement.
As I rolled out of my Elcamino scanning the entire contents of the garage in a single pass, I caught a glimpse of this old tach on the third shelf barely peeking out of a top of a box of parts. At that moment I knew my ole Sun tach was about to see a new and improved life. I rotated it counterclockwise 90% so the red line would be easier to see.

A car show is nothing more than expensive parking at a get together with a bunch of cool cars?

DALE;

Did you hear from Don Abel lately. He was at Carr Chevrolet, then all of a sudden, he seemed to drop off the map (?).

Well, as you can see by our signature, we changed a few things.

It was within 2 weeks of being painted (After 2+ years), when we (Judy agreed) decided to fulfill a lifelong dream of going 200 MPH at the Salt Flats and El Mirage.

Tore it all apart, and added an Art Morrison 12/14 Point Roll Cage, Kirkey Racing Seats w/ 6 Point Simpson Harness (Yes 2), BMR Racing Rear Suspension, and are just completing the Superior Spindle 2" Dropped Spindle S-10 Disc Brake Conversion. We have had to change every nut/bolt/washer on the entire car, and are waiting for the machined front control arm cross shafts at this point, then we can do the final wet sanding before taking it to the painter.

We (I) did learn alot about engine building during this process, and the dyno guy (Dan of Dan's Driveline) taught me how to rebuild and modify an Edelbrock Carb (You actually port and polish it). With his modifications, we basically built an 850 cfm out of a 750 cfm. After this modification, the HP increase was 31 HP, and now we have been taught how to curve the Accel HEI. It really is fun, and we both enjoy the "Challenges".

If you go to the Members Showroom, and find LVMAXX, you will see the pics to date of all of the modifications.

As you know, these things are a long process, however, the end results are well worth it.

Sorry to ramble, catch you later.

*****Almost Forgot! If MR. McFast will email us, we can send pics, descriptions, and prices of the '68-'69 Custom Aluminum Dash Bezel, plus other products he might be interested in*****
