Valve covers, gaskets, plug wires

Getting ready to change valve covers, gaskets, and plug wires on a 70-396...looking to go chrome overs, looking for recommendations on good quality valve covers, plug wires, and VC gaskets and where to get them...Thanks...Ken

Buy name brand, especially the valve cover. Most of the plain chrome valve cover are white box Chinese, if there is a name associated with the valve covers it should be higher quality part.

Plug wires, any name brand, MSD, Taylor, Moroso, pre-made is a good idea.

Valve cover gaskets, Mr. Gasket or Fel Pro performance would be a good choice.

new york resto, mod has some stock chrome valve covers that will clear roller rockers .

Moroso covers or oem cheater covers if Stamped steel.
I like taylor 135 deg soark plug wires. Hei or point distributor?

The Moroso #93040 "expensive" valve covers are better. The fel pro gaskets have a metal ring around the holes to prevent over tightening however they also prevent 100% seal depending on which valve cover you are using.
