what kind of oil was run in it? & what weight?

72 ss 454 "W" code,w/cowl induction (how many left?)

if the cam is running too far foward or backwards (check cam freeze plug location)in the block,the lifters won`t rotate like they should causing lifter wear (use thrust button)or you need to break in cam using the outer springs only then reinstalling the rest of spring after that...i`ve had bad crane cams in the past,i avoid them
