Carburetor?

I am planning a long trip next spring in my Chevelle. It a 66 396, 360 horse with power glide. Runs great except for continuous fuel leaks from the original Holley carburetor. Not wanting to take a chance with a fire, I am going to replace it. I do not trust the auto parts store people for a recommendation, whats are you guys using, or where can I get a good recommendation. I hope Holley still makes a direct replacement.

Re: Carburetor?

Vern, click on the link I've provided and call this carb shop. I've used them for a couple of carbs and have friends that have used them too. www.customrebuiltcarbs.com They do everything inhouse, I am sure you'll be satisfied!!

progress has little to do with speed, but lots to do with direction

Re: Carburetor?

Your original carburetor is a great unit and whatever is causing the leaks can easily be remedied.

Shoot me a PM if you'd like, I'll be happy to help.
