327 pics

pics of my 327 before it was dropped into my '64 a few years ago. Has a late 60's Vette dual snorkel air cleaner on a quadrajet, not sure why I put the old plug wires back on it. Lol

Yeah, we're runnin' a little bit hot tonight,
I can barely see the road from the heat comin' off,
You know what I'm sayin',
Ahh, you reach down, put it between my legs 'n
ease the seat back,
She's runnin', I'm flyin',
Right behind in the rear view mirror now,
Got the fearin', power steerin',
Pistons poppin', ain't no stoppin' now,
PANAMA!

Re: 327 pics

That is just what I'm looking for, for the 406 Q-jet combo going in my 65! What year 'vette is the air cleaner off of? Is it aftermarket? I have a L-79 air cleaner and while it's period correct, they're not the most stylish looking things. That is a lot cleaner look for sure. Good choice. The only thing different I'm doing is white headers.

Re: 327 pics

It's a factory 69-71 air cleaner, not exactly sure which. Only issue is that it's right behind the alternator, so it's probably sucking in heat from that and my cousin, the real mechanic, did some modifications on the kickdown, etc. for clearance there. Been thinking of just going with an open element air cleaner to change things up. I was thinking of switching to headers at one point, but decided to stick with the logs.

The only reason someone would want insurance is if they want to pay someone elses bills or want someone else to pay their bills.

BIGOT is a word used by people that can't use logical reasoning to prove that you are wrong when you don't agree with them.
