Engine bay pictures

I spent a lot of time this winter cleaning up my engine bay. rerouting heater hoses and fuel lines, cleaning up and putting black mesh over the a lot of the wiring, new ARH headers and hyd clutch setup to go with the new TKO 600.

I thought I would share a couple pics. Only thing I am still truing to decide is if I should powder coat the air cleaner lid black?? or go with a different lid?

Re: Engine bay pictures

That looks nice!! What's the coating on you headers? I was looking at a similar color but just had Jet Hot do the classic.

Thank you! The headers are not coated. When I got them from ARH I just scotchbrited them to shine em up a little bit.

Re: Engine bay pictures

Put my K&N lid on, I think that looks much better. The push button air cleaner release I put on there is sweet!

Very nice indeed. Not knocking the K&N, but I think the other air cleaner looked great. The lines pop and looked good with the accent line on the valve covers. Very clean though. Great job.

Yea still debating on that one. Would you leave the other one as is or powder coat black? Thank you for the input.

Re: Engine bay pictures

Great looking engine bay!
I did a similar setup with mine but it looks like your alternator and A/C pump are on opposite sides compared to mine. What brand of A/C did you use? Mine is a Vintage Air.

The car has Classic Auto Air. I have the Billet Specialties Tru-Trac system on the front.

Either way, I agree to leave that one on. Might look better black like the VC, but might be too dark overall. But I do want to say I like the look overall, very neat and clean, but not blingy.

Thank you! you hit the look I was going for clean but not blingy

You like the look of the K&N better?

Just a thought, maybe powder coat the air cleaner black but leave the "grooves" on it polished? would really match the valve covers then.
