Re: Electric Choke does not move choke plate?

Terrible (extremely incomplete) advice. It's almost like Holley doesn't know how a choke is supposed to work. Holley is allergic to mentioning the proper function of a choke pulloff, or why you'd want to adjust one. Their electric-choke add-on kits don't even mention a pulloff adjustment.

Adjusting Automatic Chokes: A Semi-Universal Approach

You're turning the choke cap, and the blade doesn't shut? DO YOU HAVE THE THROTTLE OPEN enough so the fast-idle cam clears the fast-idle screw?

I did have the throttle open. Maybe it wasn't open far enough? Don't know. But, it appears at this point to work. Plus, the cap spring was not on the bar that it should go on to.

Glad you figured it out..even in Ca I do miss having an electric choke. When set up right it feels too similar to EFI.
