15x6 tire size

I am currently running 15x8, 275/60/15 rears with 15x7, 225/60/15 fronts. I'm putting a new set of wheels on and the fronts are now15x6. Any suggestions on a different tire size for 15x6? I'm assuming the 225's I have wont look right. I've seen some people use a 215/65 or 215/70. Thanks.

Re: 15x6 tire size

I've ran 215-70-15 on 6" rims with good results. tire sized filled up the wheel well without looking too big.

Re: 15x6 tire size

I'm running 15x7 steels with 255-60-15 in the rears and 15x6 steels with 225-70-15 in the front. Black wall, BF Goodrich Radial T/A's turned in.
Hope this helps.

Thumbs up Re: 15x6 tire size

Been running 205/75R15 Uniroyal Tiger Paws on the front of my 71 for a few years. Prefect fit on the 15x6 wheel, and at 27" tall, a perfect match for the 275/60's on the rear 15x8's, IMO.
