Ridler vs US Mag wheels

Im looking at new wheels for my 66. Ive narrowed my choice down to the Ridler 650 or the US Mag Rambler.
Anyone have any experience with either company, good or bad?

Personally, I'd be more concerned about where these wheels were manufactured.

Re: Ridler vs US Mag wheels

Like most resto parts for our cars they are probably made offshore. US mag makes more then 2 million wheels a year so probably no what theyre doing.
And I cant afford to buy the handmade in the US custom wheels Id really like so this is what Im able to go with.

I'm very happy with my 5 year old Ridler 695's. Still look brand new.

That's ugly. How old were the wheels when that happened?

Re: Ridler vs US Mag wheels

I have US MAG on my Impala, they've been on the car for 2 years, prior to that they were on my friends Chevelle for couple of years. No problems whatsoever and they balanced with no issues.

Re: Ridler vs US Mag wheels

I'm hoping it can be saved too, I had Tire Kingdom rotate my 305/45r22" wheels on my 09 Ram then after the rest of the tires life (don't remember mileage but not bad) I bought new 285/50r22"s online and had my SIL's uncles tire/wheel shop change and speed balance the wheels while I waited, TK stripped a stud putting the wheels back on 10Kish miles earlier and never said anything probably the same type bonehead working on your wheels and that sucks, idiots like that have no idea their crappy workmanship could kill someone IMHO

Re: Ridler vs US Mag wheels

I just put Ridler 695 on my car. I have about 60 miles with no issues. They look good and no issues.

I don't trust shops to mount wheels.
