Valvoline for modern engines

Autozone was selling this for $4 a quart. Says its for 2012 and newer cars. (I'm always on the lookout for good oil deals)

I'm assuming that since it has the SN label on it, it can be used on my wife's 2007 Ford with no problems????

Re: Valvoline for modern engines

I'm thinking that the 2012 date is to really push that it's Dexos compliant. Dexos at one point switched from synthetic blend to full synthetic only, meaning that a lot of companies could no longer advertise compliance.
