Were you happy with the OEM ones ? If so why not just replace with the same ?

Re: 2011 tacoma struts

Bilsteins would be the best ride you could buy.
Gabrial,Monroe plus I think Moog all may be the same parts as far as shocks and struts are concerned,I never liked the way they ride. If your truck has less than 100K miles why not just re-use the factory springs ? The springs are easy to compress with the tools you can rent at the part stores,as you only have to compress it enough for the springs to slightly unseat to remove the old one and install the new strut.
I would go with KYB or even Toyota parts if you can afford the bill.KYB's at Rock auto would be the best pricewise. While I'm pissed over the way they treat their customers ,you really can't beat their price.
How do you know you need new struts ? What about the rear shocks ?
I just looked at RA's price on Bilsteins and the fronts are about 78 ea. while the rear shocks are about 68 ea don't sound too spensive to me ? How bout choo ?

Bilsteins are Oem. They dont come loaded. truck is over 100K, so it seems silly to me to put those springs back on.

Re: 2011 tacoma struts

Plenty of other choices, Rock Auto, Advance Auto, etc. Personally I prefer a neighborhood store so I can develop a rapport with the counter persons!
