My 02 had that issue when it was new, at some point youll replace the controller too. worth it though they are good trucks. 186k and runs sweet.
Overall (outside the lousy OD trans) this thigns been pretty good to me once the gremlins were worked out. Thank god for 100k warranties

Oh yeah, I replaced all that too with my 2002. But that was after hitting a jersey barrier at 40 cuz both front and rear burst and no brake light came on.


Well I'm chillin again. $320 line, 5 hours labor, and $86 freon later. I'll be eating ramen noodles for awhile.. Thanks for all the help and suggestions

On the worst hot day there, you'll forget all about what it cost. I think I paid around $280 parts and labor to get the condenser replaced in my 2002 Silverado last summer!

I only lasted one 80 degree day. Between the wife and two girls complaining on a trip back home. I couldn't take it.
