Electric Vacuum pump

I am going to be installing an electric vacuum pump on my el camino. I am wondering if anyone had recommendations as to what brand. There are ones from SSBC, Summit, Comp Cams. that are within the price range I intend to pay.

Re: Electric Vacuum pump

Bullet,
this is the one I chose.....HELLA from Summit....part # HLA 009286001 cost $249.89
worth every penny
go to Summit's web site Read the reviews....it is quiet ...you can hardly hear it...No Vibration...you will also have to use a vacuum switch to turn it on and off...
they make a cheaper one but is Not recommended for power brakes...this one ie recommend for power brakes....it took care of All my brake problems...this pump is used on Jeeps....PM me for questions. .
