Re: front spindles

you likely have dropped spindles. Find another car to park next to, look under and compare parts......with permission of course

New paint -near complete
66 SS 396. now 427
4sp w/GV, AC,PS,3.31 Posi,ft disc,11" r drum
86 Buick Grand National
89 K25 Suburban that I bought new,is new again
And a bunch of other junk.

Re: front spindles

Which ball joints did you put a spacer on? Spacing the lower ball joint would lower the car. Ball joint spacers on the upper won't do anything for height, as the upper control arm doesn't do anything for height.

Re: front spindles

Check to see if it has drop spindles on it . Easy to tell just be looking at the backside of the spindle, to see how high up from the bottom of the spindle forging/ball joint area that the bearing stub is pressed into the upright section

Stock spindle:

Drop spindle:

Notice the drop spindle has the axle stub 2" higher and has a second higher set of steering arm mount holes to preserve correct bump steer adjustment. also has that raised section above the top ball joint for the upper caliper mount bracket.

Are the lower control arms stock?? They make tubular arms with a lowering bottom spring mount section that will give you a drop even with stock spindles.

Re: front spindles

Take a wheel off, take a pic, and post it here.

What springs did you use? Small block springs will have your car sitting lower for sure.

Could be due to phone or I-pad app as a way to get space between sentences, I've seen some crazy looking hieroglyphics or Cyrillic looking stuff in posts from phones on other sites too.
