70 chevelle brake questions

hey all my 70 chevelle SS the brake pedal i believe there 2 holes for booster rod on the brake pedal which hole takes the pin upper or lower. what is the brake pedal height applied from pedal to floor, brakes are new and adjusted i have a Delco moraine booster with oval master all from ground up. also does anyone know what the correct length booster pin is im getting the pin length tool today Ty guys

Booster rod hole is the lower of the 2. It is almost impossible to hook it to the upper hole without causing the rod to severely be misaligned. When you get the tool, they will usually have suggestions as to what clearance is recommended. If not,.005-.010 is a safe bet.

thanks for getting back to me any ideas what the length should be long rod, or as i had asked pedal height off the floor again thanks

You can adjust the pedal height a bit to your liking by threading the clevis in or out, to a point. As long as you get a full stroke of the master cylinder when pressing the lever and the MC fully seats whe not pressed you should be good to go. You can the adjust the brake switch in our out to get the brake light function right.
