What front sway bar to get?

I am ordering a new front sway bar. My car is a 1969 el Camino 454. It has the SC&C Stage 3 front end with SPC upper and lower control arms.

What bar do I order?

I'm just getting the front bar now, thank you...

Or the 1.250 UMI

I wonder how much difference there is between 1-1/4" and 1-5/16" UMI bars besides the money..

If you read the info on them the 4067 is more for Road Racing and is only 1/16" bigger around than the 4035

Re: What front sway bar to get?

I used a trans am front bar on my 68. 1-1/4 diameter and it is noticeably better. Corners much flatter. I also did a big block at the same time on factory small block springs.
Basically, I noticed a big improvement with the 1-1/4 over stock.
BillsCamino and hydro462 like this.

No car yet; currently looking for 66-69 project/driver.

I have that Hellwig in the front. And a spohn adjustable pro touring rear sway bar.
Sd truck springs has the best price and sometimes gives a extra 20% off.
Really need to make sure your parts are going to work together. Mark at SC&C and UMI come to mind. You do need to get the proper spring rates and a good shock.
