If original, was this a four drum brake car?

OK. Lots of good advise here but ultimately Right Stuff should stand behind their product when there's an issue.

How long ago? Your picture of the master off of the booster looks like it has leaked at one time.

I would be following up with Right Stuff.

It's a few years old but hardly any miles ! I was surprised to see the inside look like that, the car hasn't seen weather since the conversion.

I've contacted Right Stuff !

Keep us posted. I have had this problem in the past. A local shop thought there was just trash in the lines. Now I am thinking something larger is going on.

Re: Brakes get Hot,Drag, then Lock Up?

Ok I said that I would continue to keep you posted ! By now I thought I would have good news...nope! I think Right Stuff is as frustrated as I am.

Last thing I did was syphon the brake fluid reservoir and I was shocked to see the bottom of it loaded with crud ! The Kit was brand new and the car really never left the garage !
Can I just flush the system or God forbid do I need to replace everything? Frustrated!!!

Re: Brakes get Hot,Drag, then Lock Up?

You can "reverse flush" the system by pumping fluid in at the wheels and forcing it to the master.

I would just pull the master and the delay valve and empty/flush those to start with.

Then flush the whole system with new, out of the can fluid.

Re: Brakes get Hot,Drag, then Lock Up?

With all the help and advice I received here on this issue I had to let everyone know how I made out.
I flushed the entire system and installed a new master cylinder supplied by Right Stuff !
BINGO!!!!! I never figured out why the original one didn't work but the new one did the trick.
A shout out to Right Stuff who continued to work with me.
Thanks again everybody!
