'69 Chevelle Data Plate Question

I have a question about the bottom line of the cowl data plate on a '69 Chevelle that I've recently bought.
ST69 13637 KAN ###### Bdy
TR 756 71 71 Pnt
06D 07651 L

Ok! that being listed, forth week of June. But what does the 07651 represent and the lone "L"? The car is said to be an SS but has no docs to prove it.

Thanks for any and all responses,

Dwight

Re: '69 Chevelle Data Plate Question

The L is Leeds missouri assembly, the sequence of digits next to the date code in your post are plant specific codes, I am nearly certain that there is anybody that can decode these for you, and hence have no specific value. hope this helps. good luck. Jason.

Re: '69 Chevelle Data Plate Question

Yeah, I have similar numbers on my 69 convert but they were stamped by each assembly plant seperately and there are no known (at least public) records of what they mean.

The '07651' is part of the data processing sequence number found in block 24 used for tracking purposes only. Its only 'value' today is to verify the particular buildsheet if you happen to find it. The "L" does not represent a Leeds, Mo. car, the KAN does. I have two Kansas City built 69 tags without the letter "L." Doesn't mean SS car either as it's been seen on known 6-cyl car body tags. Don't know if a search will still find threads on the subject but it's been pondered here before.
