Don't understand vin fully help

I have a 71 Chevelle can't tell you if it SS or not because when i receive the car it was stripped all the way. But i looked on sites about understanding the vin and it said the last 6 digits is the sequence # which my sequence is alot higher that what was showing as listed can anyone decode my vin it correct also on the car and restoration. 136371R164406

The sequence number starts at 100001 for 71 Arlington Chevelles. Your sequence number of 164,406 indicates it is the 64,406th 1971 Chevelle (all models included) produced at Arlington. Other than that all it tells you is a V8 Malibu Sport Coupe (13637), 1971 (1), assembled at Arlington, TX (R).

Nothing but the build sheet or bill-of-sale would tell you at this point if it was born with the SS option or you had a matching number 454 engine.
