454 block cast #

I got a 361959 off of it. Also has a P under it. It say hi perf passenger. What year is this and it is std deck height correct?

2001 SOM WS6 D1SC procharged forged 347, 12 bolt w/3.73, 622rwhp.
70 SS code 75 L78 CE motor, M21, bench seat frame off resto....SOLD
70 SS, Merlin III 540, TKO 600, cowl induction, 4:10 posi, monaco orange/blk stripes...SOLD

My book says 9.8 deck height, year - 73-90

Hi Joe
Try searching that casting number on our site. I got one this summer out of a 1974 Chevy HD 3/4 ton. I posted a similar question before I got it and some questions after wards. As usual I got great info from the guys here about that particular block. Unfortunately mine had the 216 castings for heads which from what I've been told can make good torque heads for a tow vehicle but that's about it. So I'm looking for a set of 781's for my 496 stroker build. You may get lucky and have 781's or 049's already. Did you check the heads yet?
