My LS5 engine stamp

vin 1D37W2B684794 car built 6-14-1972
the partial vin is faint (in the pic) but its there. Engine assembled 5-31-1972
THIS plus my build sheet makes me a happy camper

They are much easier to see in person but you can make out the last 3 digits in the picture.

Mike it IS in the car now.....not stock though,I just installed a HR ZZ502 cam.
(my sig line IS the #s matching motor)

No I think I'll keep it the way it is.....just gonna add the Headman Elite headers that I have for it.

After that,no more engine mods.....just a new clutch & 3.73 gears.

I'm a drag racer @ heart so I can't leave it stock......

Sorry, I saw the words 'ZZ502' in your signature and the no water pump in the picture and jumped to a conclusion.

No need to be sorry Mike.....I know hopping up the #s matching motor is a DICK move but since the car most likely will never have a complete restoration,I figured I would do a 'day 2' sorta thing & in my thinking the roller cam actually protects the block from a flat cam nightmare.
