'69 Build sheet?

What are the chances of finding a build sheet in a '69 Atlanta built car? Most Atlanta built '70s had them glued to the back of the door panel but my understanding is '69 build sheets are much more uncommon. Is That correct? Thanks

Re: '69 Build sheet?

I'm thinking Atlanta built '69s build sheets can be found. Inside door panels or in the seat springs are probably the most common area.

Re: '69 Build sheet?

Troy,
You pretty much nailed it. Very few `69 buildsheets are found. Some are from the Framingham plant and then it's usually just a 1/3rd sheet.
Most seem to be from Baltimore, then Fremont and Leeds. Leeds cars tend to have Broadcast sheets on the inside of the front fenders, if the mice haven't gotten to them.

Re: '69 Build sheet?

Thanks for the info guys. I stumbled across a '69 L78 car and although it does have it's original engine and rear axle I was hoping the build sheet might be found. Doesn't sound promising.

Re: '69 Build sheet?

69 Build sheets have been found almost any where all over the car but some places such as in the seats are more common

Re: '69 Build sheet?

My 69 Atlanta built had the broadcast sheet in the rear seat springs.
Nothing anywhere else. Checked inside the fenders, over the tank, inside door panels, behind front seats, even under the sound pad below the carpets..........pretty confident there is not one in.

Re: '69 Build sheet?

Bob, Was it a "build sheet" or a punch card that showed the model and interior trim option? Thanks, Troy
