Re: Wow!

That's not good. Maybe the classifieds here need to be set up a little differenlty. People shouldn't be able to sign up just to post ads. Maybe make it where you have to be a forum member for 3 months and have a post count of 100 or something like that.

Re: Wow!

There should be a "report ad" button.

My thought too. Just do what I did, report the first post here and explain that the post is fine but the ad needs to be deleted.

Re: Wow!

Actually there is a report product option in each ad. It sends the notice right to the webmaster. I sent it. I can remove the ad, but IMO it is something that needs to be handled above my pay grade

Re: Wow!

What is it your reporting. Someone trying to make a buck in a free classified ad, on a free member site. Be happy you now have name and phone number. If he doesn't do it here he's just going to go somewhere else. It's not illegal. But it certainly is unethical. This has been going on for years. I'm sure he isn't the only one, I remember someone from back in the 80's doing just this. Appearently the economy is bad enough now, these guy's have to crawl out from underneth the slime they've been hiding under.

Somebody should buy several so that future comparsions can be made against the real thing.

going back to my happy place now.

Thumbs down Re: Wow!

I saw the ad before I checked this post. I left a comment on the ad. My 70 survivor with two build sheets and pop seems less special all the time. It's flat out wrong wrong wrong. You know damn well at some point these recreations will be used to misrepresent.

Re: Wow!

I left a comment also for the seller.
What reason would anyone have to spend hundreds of dollars for a piece of tin if not to........I don't know.....what?
I do see where if I had lots of disposable income that something like that might appeal to me.....but I don't. LOL
