If you are trying to find out if it is an SS or not the cowl tag will not tell you this. Starting in 1969 SS was an option and not a separate model.
Go here for info on Id'ing a 70SS
https://www.chevelles.com/shop/ss_ident.html

ST 70-13637 A26146 BDY
TR 755 B80 B90 14 14 PNT
02C 220994 890619

ST = Style
70 = 1970
1 = Chevrolet div of GM
3637 = Malibu, 2 dr., Coupe, 8-cyl
A = Arlinton Texas final assy plant
26146 = Unit #
TR = Trim
755 = Black Coated Fabric, Bench Seat
B80 = Molding roof drip
B90 = Molding side window reveal
14 14 = Upper/Lower body color, Cortez Silver
PNT = Paint
02C = Build Date of February 3rd week
rest are plant codes and not decodable
Nice color combo, I really like the cortez silver and black.

What Steve said with some additions. The 220904 and the 0619 portion of the second number appear in block 24 of the build sheet. A good way to catch fake documentation.

Dale, great information. I never knew this. I looked at my trim tag and build sheet. Box 24 matches the numbers on my tag.
