Q-jet Decode Please

Says Rochester Quadrajet on the side, numbers are 17054930 with a D258 under it. It has the type of choke that uses a coil and rod. Thanks.

Re: Q-jet Decode Please

I oredered a Q-jet from advance using the year (69) that I wanted, the motor (396) and the trans (manual) and ironically the carb that came was very close on the date coding when I checked the number. Thought that was funny since I figured it wouldn't be anywhere near it. They have numbers for the manual trans and Auto trans carbs.

Re: Q-jet Decode Please

This one is a Tomco reman that was supposed to be for a '71 454. Oh, well, it served its purpose and I now have a throwdown.
