how to search car history

Hi i am new, I hope somebody can help me. I am the owner of a 67 elcamino 396 4/speed , I am trying to find out who the past owners are or possibly information i could use to determine if the car is a true b.b car.the car has black buckets,console,gauge pkg.rear frame stiffeners,12 bolt,speedo cable hole in pass floor for muncie,b.b front brake line that goes further back on pass side,b.b. motor mounts,larger front sway bar,3/8 fuel line,no ss hood royal plum w/blk.vinyl top,power steering,non power drum,factory rear air shocks.does somebody know of an organization that could help me.THANKS

Try doing a title search through our local DMV. They should be able to trace the cars history back to at least 1981. Before that, you may be on your own.

That forum is for test posting.

Sure sounds like an original big block car but it might be pretty tough to find out if any of that "bolt on" stuff was original or put on sometime later.
