136 chevelle

I have a 1967 136 car with date matching 12 bolt rear factor 4 speed it all so has 3/8 fuel line the original motor is gone how can I tell what motor it had originally .

Post a picture of the trim tag on the firewall ("cowl tag"). Depending on which plant it was built at it could provide some answers.

Could have been an L30 / M20 car or any L79 car. In either case, not bad at all.
