Question 1971 Chevelle Build Sheet codes

Hi
I just bought a 1971 Chevelle and found the Build sheet under the backseat. Is there any gurus in this forum which can explain the different codes used in this sheet? Please see the attached photos of the laminated sheet.
Anything special about this car?

I canít decode the specific boxes, there are others that can. Based on whatís listed AC seems to be the only option that might not be considered common.

Looks like a pretty basic V8 Malibu sport coupe. Mulsanne Blue, blue vinyl top, blue cloth/vinyl bench seat. 307-2 with TH350. Very late December start of the build, probably finished early January.

Since you found the buildsheet under the back seat it must be a pretty complete car.If you can't put up a picture, what kind of shape is it in ? Are you going to restore it back to stock ? or do you plan to modify it some ?

Nice. It have a 350 Goodwrench now. Probably replaced in the late 80s. The vinyl top have been removed. Probably in the same time. Thanks for the information.

Hi

Ofcourse I can post pictures of the car. It have has a respray sometime in the 80s and the engine is a Goodwrench. As you can see the vinyl top have been removed. Its a strong car with a nice paintjob. Some rust in the trunk area, but the rest is solid.

The winter is closing in here in Norway so it will probably be sitting in the garage up untill next year. Gives me good time to tinker with it. The wheels are going to be replaced as I do not like aftermarked wheels. Standard Rally 8x10 with sentercap and trim ring will be next on the list. Its all about making the car look as original as possible.
Thanks for the help regarding the decoding.

I just bought this car so I will be active on this forum and learn as much as possible about this car. Been looking for a classic car for 10 years now, so this is not a impulse buy

Re: 1971 Chevelle Build Sheet codes

Your '71 is beautiful, but it appears to be a '72. Was the front end replaced with '72 parts at some point?
