Andre, You might want to strap that fuel filter down. I have the exact same one on my S-I-L's '66 Caprice. The fuel line vibrations will crack the can at the fitting. Went through 2 of them before I figured it out. Look at the 64-66 Vette fuel system. There should be a manifold stud, a clamp and a nut. Also, dont bend the fuel fittings on the filter. The material used to make the can is super thin. It cracks easily. Ask me how I know.....If you have to adjust anything adjust the fuel lines on the carb.

Now this is a true labor of love.

Just curious, what cam is in the engine?

Thank you for the fuel filter trick.

The camshaft is: Comp Cam: 11-318-4. I looked for a OEM one, the real L-37 one, could not find any reliable info on anything, so I used what I had.

I dynoed it, 437 HP at 5250.

I have a short video of the motor on the dyno, but I cannot post it, I tried but it doesn't work.

You have to put a video on YouTube, then you can download it here. If you know anyone with a YouTube account, you can message it to them and they can post it.

A solid lifter dam would have been more in line with a true L-78 build, but that modern Hyd probably makes more power win r headaches.

Aren't they supposed to have 11 inch finned brake drums?

Not that I know of, may be, this is a test drum to try and fit everything.
