Re: 67 Frame Off

You name it, it's been either replaced or redone. Every piece of sheet metal has been replaced except for the inner shell. It's a true SS car so I wanted to save it. I have the original motor and 4 speed tranny, but i had a 496 built and put in a Auto Gear 4 speed. Rebuilt the factory gauges, console and everything else is new inside. here's a couple of pictures of the rebuild.

Re: 67 Frame Off

Absolutely fantastic looking car. I'm knocking on 10 years myself and hopefully done this year. I'm glad I'm not alone. Lol

Tighten it till it strips and back it off a quarter turn.

Absolutely worth it ....
I like knowing exactly what I have...
I tried for 2 years to buy a finished car, but
always found bodywork shortcuts, or other
major problems....

Re: 67 Frame Off

Wow, she’s gorgeous! Did similar with my 138 car. She has more reproduction metal on her but I felt she was worth saving.

Sweet looking ride. I'm envious (and also just getting started on my 67).

Great Job!

Re: 67 Frame Off

Its a 496.

Yes there is some repop sheet metal but the fenders, door shells, hood and trunk are factory.

The paint is Crystal Red Metallic, a newer corvette color.

Thanks for all the comments!!!

First show will be OC Maryland in May if they dont cancel it!
