Hesitation ????!!!!!

Hey everyone I have a small hesitation when I just hit the gas !!! It happens when I go from a stand still or if I’m rolling along at 5 or 10 miles an hour. The hesitation actually acts like the car is going to stahl for a second then takes off. It happens no matter if I go wot or just give it a little gas. ??? The carburetor is a Holley ultra street avenger 660 with vacuum secondary’s what could be causing this?? An advice or help would be greatly appreciated ! Thanks

Re: Hesitation ????!!!!!

Accelerator pump isn't working the way it is supposed to.

The only reason someone would want insurance is if they want to pay someone elses bills or want someone else to pay their bills.

BIGOT is a word used by people that can't use logical reasoning to prove that you are wrong when you don't agree with them.

You are probably leaning out between transitions. If you recently leaned out your idle, this reduces the amount of gas available during transition. Making your idle richer will help, but, may cause stink and eye irritation. If you have adjustable air bleeds, you could also decrease your low speed air bleed, this will give you more gas at transition.

Do you put in a new bigger cam ? If so, then, tuning is required.

Make sure your accelerator pump squirts as soon as you actuate the throttle. What is your timing set to?

Your just jealous because you can't hear the voices!

What does this mean? Is it locked out at 32, total timing is 32, initial is 32?

As others have said, check accelerator pump. Ensure it is adjusted properly to where you get a shot of fuel as soon as you touch the throttle. That would be the first place I would look if I had the same issue. Holley has videos on how to do this.
