Drag Only Chevelle Build

OK, ditched the camaro , traded it for what's left of this 72, first we're gonna put it on a diet, then full tube chasis that will certify to 7.5, will add fibreglass doors, hood, fenders, bumpers and deck lid, 9" rear , ls power on juice, probably goin with carb, then later will add turbo, turbo 400 trans, foot brake to start then later maybe a brake or poiwer glide with brake.
Will try to post pica or a link....Don.t know how that's goin to work out but I'll give it a try.

Re: Drag Only Chevelle Build

Got body cut off of frame and trimmed up alittle last weekend, my wife and I can easily pick it up and move it around, probably does not weigh 250, and we still have more to trim ( maybe 25-40 lbs) after we set it on the chasis that we have not started yet, waiting on more room in the shop. Still not able to post pics or links, but workin on it, they will come in time.
On another note I was building some shelves in the shop and was carrying a 32' stick of 2 3/8" pipe and I was watching the wrong end and then I heard it, crunch, and now I need anothe right hand tail lite lens for my 70. I was so pissed I just stood there for a minute looking at it, thinking to myself YOU DUMBASS, I kept my cool, set the pipe down and looked it over and it is cracked all over and has about a 1" hole in it, now I will have to try and find an original with the bubble back up lens, I don't know if they repop those or not. At least I didn't hit any paint.
