496 Compression build results....

Ported Dart Tunnel Ram By Foxwell Motorsports
AFR 301 Porters Castings with Straub VEPR335 CNC Port by Foxwell
Ti Intake and Stainless Exhaust Valves
Straub Custom Solid Roller Camshaft for Salt Flats Racing
Morel Lifters
Jesel Shaft Rockers
14 to 1 496 CID Short Block

Without Vac Pump
930HP at 7700
676#/ft at 6000

With Vac Pump
966HP at 7900
687#/ft at 6900

Impressive numbers!! Out of curiosity, how much would say 10.5:1 compression change the numbers

Shelf Stock JE Piston short block built by customer, 1/16 1/16 3/16". Std bbc cam size. .842" lifters. Will have to get info on carbs.
