Interesting, thanks for posting.

I noticed the injector duty only went into the 50s, what size injectors and what were the HP/TQ numbers?

Daryl, What are the build specs of your motor? Any flow data on heads? Thanks in advance.

Interesting, lots of headroom left in relation to the injector size.

I was curious as I'm running a ProFlo 3 on my 540 (made 752 on the dyno with a carb. With the ProFlo it ran 10.71 1/4 mile 3900 lb car, around 8000ft da) and wondered if the 60lb injectors were up to the task; looks like they are. BTW: On the street it's very driveable and I credit the ProFlo for some of that, I made a bunch of concessions to make it a better street car that I'm sure hurt my 1/4 times but it's a very streetable car that runs in the 10s at altitude so I'm okay with the compromises.

I ran a 950 carb for a long time before switching over to Pro Flow. I have not made any passes. But there is a drop off at wide open throttle with Pro Flo. Everywhere else is better. Now I always wondered if a wet Throttle body would be better at wot then multi port injection.

10.5 to 1 505. Promaxx 317 heads with a 2.30 intake. 250/[email protected] .050 HR with .640 lift on a 108. I never had the heads flowed. Promaxx says 389 at .700. Mr. Foxwell stated 381 at .700 after a bit of work.

Re: 505 dyno pull - ProFlo 4 readout

Sounded good.

Wouldn't it be nice if Edelbrock included a button in that ETuner app that said Log, and csv logs could be saved to a microSD card.

According to my flow calculator 60lb injectors can support 1000 HP at 58psi naturally aspirated, so lots of headroom.

Some thoughts about 4150 kits. Make the progressive throttle linkage a 1:1 linkage, open up and blend out the crappy casting in the plenum, and port match the intake to your heads may help clean up WOT.

The system responds extremely well to getting rid of the progressive linkage on the 4150 throttle body. The same calibrations that work with the 4150 throttle body work with the XT ram intake and LS style throttle body. Essentially, what I'm saying is can deal with all that air at once. Some Accel Pump enrichment tuning may be required.

I run 60lb Siemens Deka injectors in the Pro Flo 4 on a NA SBC with a 1:1 linkage, and the minor intake mods mentioned above, plus a 1 inch spacer. Motor runs great, and seems to pull as long as I keep the pedal down. Can't keep it down long on the street in Seattle. I have to baby the throttle more than I did with the progressive linkage on the street with the 1:1 linkage, but I like it. It's a street only cruiser, but it runs pretty good.

Yes it would! I'd for sure use it to look over 1/4 mile passes!!

I should have mentioned my ProFlo 3 is the XT version.

Re: 505 dyno pull - ProFlo 4 readout

Not having that logging feature is an opportunity for their partners to make $300 - $6,000 CANbus logging devices.

FiTech was a spoiler with that logging feature and everything they let users have tuning access to. Only thing I do miss is the logging though. I do not miss throttle bodies with the ECU in them on my motor. It is a great idea for ease of installation, but a remote ECU turns out to be more robust in my engine bay.

Re: 505 dyno pull - ProFlo 4 readout

anybody know what the canbus data looks coming off the wire? ASCII? some sort of Excel? comma delimited? tab delimited?

There's likely enough expertise on here to manufacture a reader type thing. at least dump it onto a flash drive? From there probably not too hard to import it into a spreadsheet.
Anybody up fro a project?

here's a start: https://oshpark.com/shared_projects/VeJFD9qA

if you're up on Teensy, it's single board computer made just for things like this. It's similar to Arduino or Raspberry PI. I have a couple of the latter running on my LAN. There's Aduino hadware easily capable of running an EFI, about $175. Probably a way to pick up the data stream off the WBO2, feed it out the Data port.
