Re: switching back to reg oil ?

You need to do some basic troubleshooting first. Is the oil maybe getting sucked in through the pcv valve ? Intake gaskets ? Etc.

I have done several engines with synthetic oil in them from the get go. Not an issue if the cylinder walls were finished properly. Especially if it was started and broken in on the dyno.

Re: switching back to reg oil ?

Just drain it, change the oil back to dino and a filter and run the engine for another 5k miles. After that if its not using oil switch back.

Your just jealous because you can't hear the voices!

I doubt it will make a difference.
I ran my SFT combo with Mobil 1 and it has been flawless. Switched to 10w30 in mine. Holds great oil pressure.

Find a back road and do something wide open 0-60 pulls about 10 times

Re: switching back to reg oil ?

If youre going to use Mobil use 15/50 it has more of the good stuff in it.
Personally I think youre throwing your $ away use some good dino oil/filter, up to you.
Not sure either is good nor bad

Re: switching back to reg oil ?

Add some heavy deceleration to the above 0-60 pulls. I would think the rings would have been seated in on the dyno. Do the mentioned trouble shooting first.
