Wagon on the dyno, about what I expected

Had a dyno day at a local shop so I had the wagon on the dyno. It returned about what I expected and considering I haven't touched anything on the engine in a year or two it did really well. A couple guys commented that it squeaked the tires on the drum on the initial hit from 3000. The first run was from 2000, it did a lot better on the last two runs starting at 3000.

So, 385 rwhp, figuring a 20% drivetrain loss, that's about 481 at the crank. I always figured it was around 475 so I'm pretty happy with it. I'm pretty pleased with how smooth the curve is since I've been forever chasing the correct vacuum secondary settings. Looks like I finally found the right combination of VS spring and accelerator pump cam.

I don't know, it has headers with 1-3/4" primary tubes into a 3" collector into 3" head pipes into straight through Magnaflow mufflers into 2-1/2" tail pipes. I honestly don't think the exhaust is holding anything back, at least not by much.

Wish I could have gotten there earlier to see/hear your car run! Send me a video of your car running on the dyno if you have one.

Harold really knew how to design them didn't he? That cam is absolutely everything Harold and others said it would be. He suggested I put it in 6 degrees advanced and that's exactly what I did. First time I ever used a cam advance kit or a degree wheel. Worth every penny and every minute spent. It's like a big old salute to Harold every time I fire it up.

INDEED! Mr. Brookshire was a gentleman and a scholar.

It has some really high exhaust velocities, giving it a distinctive note.
