Re: Muncie carnage

Jody can probably tell you the manufacturer Oliver, but AGE Transmissions uses an Italian gear set in their M23's. I have one of their M23z's.

Their case is also much stronger. I had two M20's rebuilt locally by a fella who passed ( Old Man Transmissions - known in th ecirlce track space), who actually machined the case to move the centershaft inward around 2 thou. That is for the 67 M20 that stays with my car.

Re: Muncie carnage

Stuff happens. It had a good life. Hate to see you go auto....we'll be losing another gear banger!! Anyone can drive an auto..takes talent to drive a stick!

I'd say get a stronger trans and a different clutch to absorb some shock and get back after it!

Re: Muncie carnage

Cool! Glad your back in business!
My son is going to do a SM465 to M20 swap on his 67 C10 in the very near future.
Then he will actually have fun rowing through the gears...instead of waiting for each shift!

That’s Paul’s book. I have it as well. Best information for a Muncie is in that book.

Do they operate in Italy still?

Asking cos im thinking of stroking my 1971 LS3 and not sure if my M21 will handle that. Since im living in Europe a supplier here would be quite nice

Cheers
