2 induction setups:
-Cast M&M single 4 intake ported by URE w/Braswell 1.94"vx2.275"tb
-CFE sheetmetal intake with custom URE 2x4 top w/2 Braswell 4825 carbs
Moroso custom pan w/Moroso billet oil pump (internal-wetsump)
Moroso vacuum pump

That's the basic outline. There was a lot of development/work that went into the cam/valvetrain along with several sessions on the spintron. The cam made a few trips to Bullet for lobe tweaking before things got happy on the spintron.

All said and done, it should be a few tenths quicker than the 440, but time & effort will tell. I was able to fix some problems with the transmission that cropped up towards the end of running the 496bbc that Mark built, and subsequently plagued the 11 passes made with the 440. It feels better on the street that suggests it's been rectified, but never made it back to the track with the "fixed" tranny. Hind sight is 20/20, but I have to wonder now what the 496 would have done with the new tranny mods....but that's just fodder for speculation.

On a side note......it blows me away to still see a lot of the old guard is still here. It's been 18yrs this month for me. My oldest has gone from a premie in the NICU to an 18yr old heading off to NY next month for college.

And the beat goes on.......
