Shear plate vs 4 hole spacer, same thing?

One raises the carb up a little bit more? Assuming the spacer is solid...

I'm guessing this is for a dominator? have you thought about having the linkage moved to outside of the carb? Boom.. no need for a shear plate!

I THINK what you are asking about is an anti reversion plate for under the carb. Like the Reher-Morrison setup?? No they aren't quite the same thing. The reversion plate is curved underneath to redirect the gases down, though a 4 hole spacer probably prevents the pulses from hitting the carburetor. Reher-Morrison has one that is 1.5" tall over all that has the spacer blended to the plenum and the 1/2" reversion plate is blended to the 1" spacer.
