Chroming woodgrain trim surround 67 El

Have 2 sets, they are ok but not great.
Any place that does decent plating that doesnt cost my front teeth?

Would put the finishing touches on this one.

So??? You need to renew this original silver plating? I recently renewed the silver trim around the center dash AC / heater vent on my 70 El Camino. I used a four dollar, chisel-tipped, silver paint pen from Hobby Lobby. With a steady hand and a light touch, the chisel tip width keeps the paint where it needs to be and not sliding off the edge down onto the plastic. You might need two pens or maybe mine was a little dry from hanging on the rack too long before I bought it.

Worked for me . . .

Are the molding anodized aluminum or pot metal? On my 67 Malibu it appears that the rear & side moldings are anodized aluminum; pot metal for the tail light bezels.
