Inner/Outer Wheel Well to Rocker Gap

Anyone know if there is supposed to be an 1/8-1/4" gap around the outer wheel house to the rocker? The outer wheel well is tight and flush against the rocker flange on the inside of the rocker, facing the front of the vehicle. It appears to be factory because we found seam sealer in the rocker and this would probably prevent the wheel well from meet the rocker flushly. Can someone please look at there Chevelle and confirm the gap.

Re: Inner/Outer Wheel Well to Rocker Gap

I don't remember if mine had a gap or not to be honest. I would pop the quarter panel back on and see how things look. The inner wheel well has to meet up correctly with the fender lip so I would check it first. The inner wheel house can be moved outward if needed.

There's nothing wrong with being stupid as long as you know you're stupid, it's when you're stupid and don't know it that you become dangerous.
