Cup or dish in 72 door?

I am doing the body work on my 72 doors and I noticed that both doors seem to cup inward near the lock (rear) side. Is this factory?

I can't really tell by your pic what you mean but, 70-72 chevelles have a coke bottle shape and will be flat coming from the quarter panel forward up to about 12 inch then will flare out. I don't know if you can see it in this pic of mine or not.

There's nothing wrong with being stupid as long as you know you're stupid, it's when you're stupid and don't know it that you become dangerous.

Where you say "...and will be flat coming from the quarter panel forward up to about 12 inch..." is the area I am referring to. On both doors there is a bit of filler there revealed when sandblasted and it is cupped (or dented or dished into the car) about 1/8"-1/4". It's just odd that its on both doors so it has me pausing and wondering if it's factory.
