So new seat pressures are at 170-173lbs with a 408lbs rate. Did some calculating and with a 140lbs(stock) rate on a zz502 camshaft and 10psi boost I need 175lbs. Now given I run a beehive with tool steal retainer I thinking I am good with a marginal buffer zone.

All in all hopefully the combo lifters of morel(exhaust) and GM 572(intake) will hold up to a lot of street duty.

As well I am re-using my valve springs. For inspection I completed a penetrant dye test as well checked all valve spring pressure.

Parts list here is:
AFR 305 (cast chambers, non cnc, very old head)
PAC alloy springs 175 seat with 408 rate
Took steel retainers
10 degree locks
Viton seals
what beehive spring & retainer set are you using here?
same seat # spec's on exhaust as intake??
