Re: Vintage Air in a Non-A/C 70
I have a non A/C 70 with small block engine and the alternator on the right hand side. I am planning to order the Vintage Air COMPLETE kit for non A/C cars.
My question is, is there anything I need to be aware of when ordering or installing??
Also do any of you have pictures of your institutions under the hood and inside the car?
Also does the normal heater controls get modified in any way? Or does it have its own controls?
Thanks in advance
I had a Vintage Air system installed in my non-a/c '71 Chevelle. I'll answer your questions in order:
1° The only thing you need to tell them are that your car was a non-a/c car originally and also what kind of engine you have ...
2° I do have some pictures but it would be easier for me if I could e-mail
them to you…
3° The kit comes with it's own controls but they look very similar to the original controls, so don't worry, it won't look "out-of-place" once installed.
