They have an old school milling machine with a multi tooth carbide cutter head. That is the type of head that my Berco came with and it worked absolutely fine for old school composition gaskets. You could actually get a better finish if you slowed down the feed. On aluminum it would actually do pretty darn good because you could turn up the rpm too. We converted ours to CBN many years ago and have not looked back since.
