You have a pic of the fine scratches? I did what a hobbyist might do, an orbital and some 3M fine cut. But it doesnt get all the scratches out, so I'm going to pay a pro for 2hrs of time after I strip the car of emblems.

I'd view Ryan's video above. I dont have that kind of time to spend on body alone. So $200 for a buff job trumps 60 hrs of work, to me. Yet, I did try it myself before I resigned myself to hire a "jitterbug expert". Again, I got alot out, but it is 20 yr old paint. Sometimes they need heat and abrasion to finish well, as mine does.

From then on, esp with black, be very very mindful of the cloths used to clean the car. Throw your "California Duster" away. Use micro-fibre cloth to dust, for example.
