Re: Creeping taxes

People get pissed when I vote no on special property taxes for the schools.

Meanwhile, the mayor gets a $2500/mo allowance for a car. Mrs69's Honda costs $200/mo. Get him one of those.

Government has plenty of money, they just don't spend it wisely.

As usual, Andy is right
If it doesn't fit, force it. If it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway.

I have to keep reminding myself this isn't a Z16 convertible, Evening Orchid Camaro, or factory 1966 SS427 and get on with it.

You have to wonder, who gets paid to sit and surf, and come up with new and inventive ideas about taxes.

Our city also recently switched to all LED bulbs in the street lights. Great idea, but at how much? I'm sure the savings will catch up with the expense, but in my life time?
