Southeast Low Fuel Light is ON

We were just in Burlington, NC, just a few minutes from the house and gas stations are shut down, out of gas. Diesel is still available so we will be driving the truck and letting the cars sit till the work week, still have one to fill up. The rural, small stations still have gas since they are away from the interstate.

Let's hope the pipeline gets fixed soon.

Re: Southeast Low Fuel Light is ON

I read on online article right before I checked this site, due to the headline I initially thought it was going to be about the pipeline being built in the Dakota's, but it was about the pipeline you mention. They hope to have it fully operational by Thursday. They are working on alternative suppliers. It sounds like it won't be a fun week for you guys. Good luck.

They could move the gas to town the old fashioned way...in a tanker truck. Of course then nobody will be making a profit or the price would double.

The break occurred about 30 miles south of here, but I filled up at a Chevron this afternoon for $1.90/gal. Go figure.

Re: Southeast Low Fuel Light is ON

I have decided to drive the diesel this week on my 110 mile round trip to work and am going to leave my daily driver sit with a full tank just in case another family member's car runs low. Diesel does not seem to be in short supply.
