Now he's taking Foot-Longs all the time!

Society destroys itself just fine by itself.

I honestly give less than a F what my neighbors do as long as they don't wake me up while I'm sleeping.

I've lived in the same house about 30 of my 46 years on the planet and I can name roughly 1 neighbor and that's because he was a douche in high school and hasn't changed a bit.

And the reason that the seller is so quick to accept an offer of 1/2 is they don't own the coin/painting/artifact/etc. that they are selling in the first place. Their ownership is fake, the offer is fake, their appearance in the pawn shop is staged. It is all done under the magic of reality TV. Although it is sometimes entertaining.

If they weren't committing crimes against me, why would I care?

I don't stick my nose in people's business as long as they don't mess with me.

they may start out by leaving you alone then the riff raff gets worse and they start messing with your stuff. Drug addict will steal from their own mother, do you think they care about a reclusive nieghbor? You'd be prime pickings. Jim.

Since we are talking "reality" here ( I know, nothing real about reality t.v.) I think if you did not have that Mossberg stolen at some unguarded time and you were in the hypothetical situation of having to use it in defense of your life or your property, you most likely would never be the same. Your life would be changed forever. You may actually come to a conclusion after it was all said and done, that " I honestly give less than a F what my neighbors do as long as they don't wake me up while I'm sleeping," maybe you would have something more to think about.

I do understand what you mean, but given a choice I would rather avoid trouble and would always hope my neighbors would want the same. I know you feel the same way. Meth destroys.

Re: Chumlee

Maybe.

I saw my best friends nephew die in his 20's due to heroin. I've got pictures of the kid riding his Big Wheel in front of my house when he was 5.

I still don't get involved in my neighbor's stuff.

Re: Chumlee

But, you can bet that they will get involved with your stuff and a gun will do no good at all if you are asleep.

Been around some of my son's druggie friends and there was nights that I was afraid to go to sleep for fear of drug dealers he owed money to.

He traded 40 years of his life for drugs.
