I have been that way as well, but it has been a while so I don't remember it too much. The only thing that I know is that the area north of Morristown, TN can get some pretty serious fog regularly. Again, I have only been through there twice, hopefully someone from that area will pipe in for more info. Nice drive otherwise.

OK I64 I75 so the interstate is good etc no two lane highways etc ....... so is it more hilly than going thru Nashville or about the same ......just thinking if bad weather hits which route would be best

Thanks for reply

I've drove that stretch of I-75 from I-64 to I-40 MANY times...nice drive but like that whole region it is mountainous.
Main truck route so it is maintained often in crap weather.

I have driven the 75 to 64 to Louisville a few times. 75 over Jelico Mountain is no mans land if it is snowing. Long lonesome drive in good weather. You can hit 25-E in London, KY to Morristown which is a shorter distance and more population but you still have to cross the big mountain. 75 is quicker if roads are good.

Good luck.

Thank-you ED good info, sounds like pbly stick to Nashville route for this trip because of possible bad weather .but when I go back to JC in summer 75/64 Louisville route would be good to experience
